How is the F1 world champion decided?
The driver with the most points after the last race is champion. It is decided early once nobody can catch the leader.

Most points wins
Points from every race and sprint are added up. The title is settled as soon as the leader is more points ahead than any rival could still score in the remaining races.
If two drivers are level
The tie is broken by countback: most wins, then most second places, then most thirds, and so on.
Two championships
The drivers’ title goes to one person; the constructors’ title goes to the team with the most points from both cars, and decides how the prize money is shared.
How many points can a driver still score?
25 per remaining race plus 8 per remaining sprint. Our simulator works it out for every driver after each race.
